Brooklyn Church Project
The Gospel Changes the World and the World Lives in Brooklyn
About
Our History
Brooklyn Church Project was formed in 2004 when Matt Brown and his family moved to Brooklyn to plant Park Slope Presbyterian Church. The goal from the beginning has been to plant not just one church but to begin a network of churches throughout Brooklyn that will celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve their neighborhoods. 2005 marked the beginning of this network as Resurrection Presbyterian Church, led by church planter Vito Aiuto, began worship in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In the summer of 2008, John and Kathy Sweet moved to Flatbush to plant our next congregation. We hope that this is just the beginning of what will become a thriving network of churches worshipping and serving in many of the Brooklyn neighborhoods.
