The Brooklyn Church Project (BCP) exists to embody the kingdom of God in Brooklyn by planting neighborhood congregations and partnering with existing Christian ministries.

Church Planting

Lots of neighborhoods, lots of neighborhood churches

With a population of 2.5 million people in more than 80 distinct neighborhoods the need for churches that reflect the uniqueness and diversity of the neighborhoods is apparent. We hope to start 20-25 congregations throughout Brooklyn over the next 20 years. These congregations will possess a "theology of place" and will reflect the unique diversity of their neighborhoods. God is already at work in Brooklyn

Because we believe that God has been at work long before we arrived in Brooklyn and that he is at work outside of our circles, our desire is to partner with and learn from other churches and church networks that are proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in Brooklyn. Learn more »
